Description

The Atlantic Smart Ports Blue Acceleration Network (AspBAN), with the support of 123 Strategic Partners, aims at launching the building blocks that will found a dynamic acceleration services platform for EU Atlantic ports to work as blue economy hubs, thus diversifying their business models and revenue sources.

This platform will function as an open innovation networked ecosystem of blue economy hubs, based on smart and green infrastructures in deep connection with European Economic Area, transatlantic and other relevant EU and non-EU maritime basins, thus diversifying business models and revenue sources.

AspBAN project will achieve this goal by leveraging the existing ecosystem elements structuring and connecting them, and bringing in private investors.

Contribution

  • Inclusive port: because its final objective is to improve competencies, employment, business opportunities and marine employment creation, looking it achievement through the involved key agents’ cooperation and interaction.
  • Innovative port: the project contributes to this key objective because it has been defined with an innovative collaboration focus among the blue-sector stakeholders.
