-The Blue Fest 2024 will take place from October 24 to 27 in the Vigo Bay, featuring a diverse program of sports, tourism, and cultural activities for all audiences. -Organized by the Asociación Clúster Náutico Rías Baixas, the festival is an evolution of the Semana Azul, an event held for years to bring society closer to the sea. -Starting today, October 17, registrations for the activities are open through the association's website and social media.
The HYDEA project, led by our center and funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area 2021-2027 program, was born to boost the transition to hydrogen in the ports of the Atlantic Area. One year after its launch, the 10 partners from Ireland, France, Portugal and Spain presented the first concrete results: the creation of an interactive map of the main hydrogen initiatives in the Atlantic Area ports, the identification of the most promising hydrogen applications, bottlenecks and opportunities in the ports of Brest, Leixões, Vigo and Seville, and the organization of international discussions on safety and security issues.
- The president of the Port Authority of Vigo, Carlos Botana, the Regional Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Planning, María Martínez Allegue, and the delegate of the Xunta de Galicia in Vigo, Ana Ortiz, visited this morning the works to improve mobility and humanization of the 2nd section of the Orillamar road. - It is expected to be completed by the end of the year, thus completing an itinerary of almost 7.5 km that will allow a sustainable and fully accessible mobility from the Arenal gardens to the promenade surrounding the car terminal in Bouzas.
