Programa de Cambio Climático, Medio Ambiente y Eficiencia Energética en el Sector Marítimo-Pesquero

Se abren las inscripciones para el curso de Cambio Climático, Medio Ambiente y Eficiencia Energética en el Sector Marítimo-Pesquero que se se realizará del 10 al 19 de Septiembre en horario de tarde.

Esta formación va dirigida a trabajadores del ámbito portuario con la formación necesaria para trabajar en el servicio de manipulación de mercancía.

Objetivos del curso

El entorno marítimo-portuario, constituido por elementos especialmente sensibles, es uno de los componentes fundamentales en la lucha contra el cambio climático. Así es que destacan los puertos como verdaderos agentes de cambio altamente vulnerables.

En este escenario el Puerto de Vigo está realizando enormes esfuerzos para consolidarse como Puerto Verde de referencia en el sur de Europa. Tanto es así que se ha convertido en puerto piloto en la UE para el diseño y la implantación de la estrategia de crecimiento azul (Blue Growth).

Comprometido con el desarrollo sostenible, APV diseña esta acción formativa, desde un punto de vista multidisciplinar, con el objetivo de fortalecer las capacidades de los trabajadores en su entorno laboral. A lo largo del curso se analizarán los principales argumentos, tendencias, implicaciones, retos y oportunidades que surgen en este nuevo escenario al que nos dirigimos.

• It aims to recognize the work and experience of the workforce and support their entrepreneurial spirit in prototyping specific solutions to social, economic, and environmental challenges. • The "APVIGO INTRAEMPRENDE" Program consists of four phases: training; entrepreneurial idea contest; entrepreneurship pre-incubator for the ideation and prototyping of the business idea; and prototype testing at the Port of Vigo. • The idea contest will be launched in the coming days, and interested parties will have a maximum of 30 days to submit their applications. The pre-incubator will last for 6 months from the selection and publication of the winners.

• The President of the Port Authority of Vigo, Carlos Botana, and the Rector of the University of Vigo, Manuel Joaquín Reigosa, have signed a collaboration agreement laying the groundwork for the joint realization of the 3rd edition of the Scientists Meet Artists program. • The agreement between both entities aims to make this initiative more appealing to the people of Vigo, increasing its impact and visibility while enhancing interaction between the port and the city. • The building of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo has become the canvas on which artist Delio Rodríguez has created a mural of urban art focusing on ocean observation. The goal is to visualize and disseminate aspects related to the marine world.
